Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Water: Spring Water
Grain: 4 oz. American 2-row
6 lb. British pale
3 lb. German Munich
8 oz. Belgian biscuit
12 oz. American crystal 40L
Mash: 80% efficiency
60- minute mash at 153 degrees, mash out at 170 degrees for 15 minutes, sparge with 173 degree water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 6.5 gallons
one tsp. Irish moss for final 15 minutes of boil.
Hops: 1.0 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 30 min.)
.75 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Pitched slurry of 1.5 liter starter of White Labs California Ale
Log: Brewed 10-27-02. Ferment for 1- week at 68 degrees then transfer to secondary. I will update as required.
