Blue Moon Clone
This beer is a crowd pleaser year round. Much Like the commercial beer BLUE MOON it is very smooth and drinkable. A summer must have.

Steep: | I use a mash tun with a gallon and a half of 175 degree water to achieve a temp of 155 in the tun for the steep. You can use a pot on the stove and a muslin bag too of course. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.048 | 6.50 gallons | |||||
6 lb. Light malt extract 8 oz. Honey (for last 10 min of boil) |

Irish moss 15 min Orange Peel and Crushed Coriander 1 oz each for the last 5 min of boil. Full volume boils work best but you might back off the hops 20% if you do the full volume boil. |
