Good ole Ale

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
15 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Water: Philadelphia tap with a Pur-Filter in line filter.
Grain: 7 lb. British pale
3 lb. German Vienna
1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
Mash: 65% efficiency
Mash at 155° for 60 min and collect enough wort for 5.5 gal.batch. I batch sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.038 7.0 gallons
1 teaspoon of Yeast nutrient last 10 minutes. Cool to @70° rack into fermentor aerate with O2 for 45 sec.
Hops: 1.0 oz. Fuggles (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (5.1% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: S-04 1-11.5gm. pack
Log: Brewed on 9/12/04; Ferment at 70° for three weeks,rack to bottling bucket then bottle and store at room temp. for at least 2 weeks.
Carbonation: Prime with cane sugar 4oz.
