Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons

115 HCU (~39 SRM)
Bitterness: 6 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Water: Bottled spring water.
Grain: 8 oz. American chocolate
8 oz. American black patent
Steep: Steep the grains until the it starts to boil, then remove.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.162 2 gallons
6 lb. Amber dry malt extract
1 lb. Honey
added irish moss in for the last 15 minutes.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: 1 packet of dry ale yeast
Carbonation: Used priming tabs (3/bottle). Good carbonation.
