Grain: 10 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American chocolate
1 lb. American crystal 120L
1 lb. Flaked barley
Mash: 75% efficiency
single step 150° for 90 minutes.
Boil: 40 minutes SG 1.056 6 gallons
Put hops into water before water starts boiling ,Irish moss with 15 minutes left in boil
Hops: 1 oz. Brewers Gold (8.5% AA, 41 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 5 with one pint starter using 4 oz. dme.
Log: 7 days @70°, 14 days @70°.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Honey: 3.32 oz. for 5 gallons @ 65°F
or pressurize in the keg and allow to age for twenty days, suit yourself.
