8 oz. American chocolate
8 oz. American black patent
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single Infusion at 155° for 60 minutes, Mash Out 170° for 15 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.055 5 gallons
2 lb. Maple syrup
1/3 oz. Irish Moss
Maple Syrup was not boiled, but added to wort after boil but before cooling
Hops: 1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1318: London Ale Yeast III
Carbonation: 2/3 cup brown sugar or possibly 1 cup maple syrup
