Alcohol: 6.4% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. Belgian Special B
4 oz. Crystal malt 75L
8 oz. Chocolate malt
8 oz. Black patent
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. Peated Malt
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.082 4 gallons
8 lb. Light liquid malt extract
Hops: .5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Amarillo (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Danstar Nottingham Dry Ale yeast
Log: 2 oz. steamed (not boiled) French oak chips (20 minutes) into secondary
Carbonation: 1&1/4 cup Dry Malt Extract in 16oz. water, boiled for about 15 minutes and cooled
