4 oz. American black patent
Mash: 75% efficiency
mash in @ 150, rest 45 min, step to 165, rest 45, mash out
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.042 6.5 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (7.4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (4.46% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: WYEAST 1084 irish yeast XL smackpack
Log: 1-3-05 brew day
During Secondary fermentation I will add 6-7oz of cracked Illy Espresso to the carboy for the final weeks of fermentation. This will hopefully be my last bottled batch...
Carbonation: 3/4cup corn sugar at bottling
