Congratulations to my friends Nick and Riann who will be married June 3, 2006!! May you have a long and happy life together! This beer is being brewed today, April 21st, in order to be ready for consumption at Nick's bachelor party.

Color:
59 HCU (~24 SRM)
Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Grain: 12 oz. American crystal 40L
12 oz. American crystal 60L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. American chocolate
4 oz. Roasted barley
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.075 3.5 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: I am using Muntons dry ale yeast. Seems to kick start fermentation better than some of the liquid yeasts I have used.
