Water: Used bottled water added 2 tsp of Gypsum Salt at start.
Grain: .5 lb. British pale
.25 lb. American Munich
.5 lb. American victory
.25 lb. Belgian Special B
.25 lb. British chocolate
.5 lb. Roasted barley
.25 lb. British mild
.25 lb. American black patent
Steep: Add grains at 160* - Rest to 122* (this took about 1hr 10mins) - Slowly heat to 155* - Remove grain.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.130 2.5 gallons
4.6 lb. Light malt extract
2 lb. Dark malt extract
1 lb. Amber dry malt extract
Added 1 tsp of Irish Moss in last 15mins of boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Bullion (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Bullion (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 10 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
Yeast: 1 pk - Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale Yeast
