Hops: | .25 oz. Magnum (14.2% AA, 60 min.) .25 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 20 min.) .25 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 10 min.) |

Yeast: | I used Nottingham, but will try with S04 as well. | |||||||
Log: | Mashed at 154F, would drop to 152 with S04 yeast. I bumped C80 from 3% up to 5% to help cover chocolate bitterness. Maybe even more oats in this chocolate version (12%-15%) |

Carbonation: | 2.5 volumes | Corn Sugar: 1.71 oz. for 2 gallons @ 65°F | ||||||
Very little head, even at 2.5 vol, but flavor seams fine, just not as pretty of a pour. | ||||||||
Tasting: | Wow, first sample was great. Nice chocolate aroma, smooth and well balanced. |
