Imperial Oats
A try at combining an oatmeal stout and an imperial. I was going for a huge body, high alcohol beer that was balanced by the velvety texture of oatmeal. One week after bottling, I tasted a sample and it was rich, roasty and had an alcoholic warming effect. I will age until Christmas 2002...about nine months!
