Alcohol: 9.2% v/v (7.2% w/w)
Grain: 250g British Munich
500g American crystal 90L
500g British chocolate
500g British black patent
250g Rolled oats
Steep: Crack grains and steep at 155F for 30 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.152 3 Imp. gal.
1kg Light malt extract
5kg Amber malt extract
Remove the grain from the water and add malt extract. Add chinook hops and boil 50 minutes.Add Irish moss for the last 15 minutes of the boil. Add Willamette hops and boil 7 minutes. During last 3 minutes of the boil add cascade. Remove hops from the boil.
Hops: 3 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
