Boil: minutes SG 1.073 6 gallons
8 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
.5 lb. Corn sugar
1 lb. Dark dry malt extract
steep grains(3.0lbs) in water(1.75gal)at 155° for 45 minutes.
sparge with 1 gal of 170° water
add 1 more gallon of water and bring to a boil.
add DME
add 1tsp. Irish moss
follow hops additions
15min - add LME
top carboy off
Hops: 1.0 oz. Magnum (14% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Magnum (14% AA, 30 min.)
1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: English ale yeast
