Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Grain: 8 lb. Malteurop
2 lb. Briess Caramel 120
2 lb. Munton's Chocolate Malt
2 lb. Weyerhaus Cara Aroma
2 lb. Briess Flaked Oats
2 lb. Munton's Roasted Barley
Mash: 88% efficiency
Rest at 90 degrees f for 30 minutes, then 145 for 30 minutes, 155 for 30 minutes and then sparge twice at 170.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.045 13 gallons
Supermoss at 15 minutes left to the boil.
Hops: 2 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 90 min.)
2 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
2 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Safbrew 33 which was rehydrated beginning 8/4 in a pint of water and with 5 ounces of dextrose.
Log: Plan on brewing on 8/8/10.
Carbonation: force carbonation. Served through my stout tap w/Guinnes Gas.
