1 lb. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
Steep: steep at 160 degrees for 30 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.159 2 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
none
Hops: 1.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
Yeast: White Labs Dry English Ale
Log: ferment at 60 degrees. Primary 4-7 days. Secondary for 3-7 weeks.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 12.3 psi @ 40°F
Corn Sugar: 2.79 oz. for 5 gallons @ 40°F
Tasting: heavy malty great winter brew!
