Mash at 120 for 30 min, then added water to get up to 135 then heated to get up to 145 then slowly heated from 145 to 160 over a 60 minute period. | ||||||||

Sparged into boilpot. Began heating after 3+ gallons were in pot. Added boil hops when 4+ gallons were in. Sparge continued until boil finished. Hops pulled at 70 minutes. Irish moss added. 1.5 # of dark corn syrup added. (Not corn sugar and molassass). Cooled overnight. YEast pitched in morning. |

Yeast: | Mad River Brewery house yeast pitch used. | |||||||
Log: | Brewed on November 9th in the evening. Fermented in the brewpot then racked after 2 days to a keg/carboy. |
