Log: | Plan to, and did, brew in late October. 10/29/11. Bottled on 12/3/11. Sample sasted buiscity. Smelled "Belgian." Belgian as in Fat Tire. 4/12/12-Tasted a bottle I forgot about and it was quite good! The malt dominates but the yeast is still aparrent as it seems to have a slight Belgian characteristic, but it's not exactly welcom. This yeast is the only thing I might change about this recipe. The hops are not near being decteded so there could be some adjusting there. Would make a great amber and, actually, not too far from Fat Tire, just a little "fatter." |
