Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: Water was softened, filter water.
Grain: 1 lb. American carapils
Steep: Steeped carapils at 155°F for 30 minutes.
Boil: minutes SG 1.051 6 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Honey
Without DME:
1. Steeped the carapils for 30 minutes.
2. Boiled hops for 45 minutes.
Added DME with final quota of hops and supermoss, boiled 15 minutes/
Added honey, mixed, and allowed to steep 15 minutes to pasteurize.
Hops: 1 oz. Liberty (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Liberty (4.5% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Liberty (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Safale US-05, 2 packs, rehydrated.
Log: Brewed: July 9, 2016
Siphoned July 17, 2016, added gelatin.
Bottled August 13, 2016
Carbonation: 4.5 oz DME for 2.1 vol CO2.
