Bitterness: 45 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 6.3% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Water: 2 tsp gypsum begining of boil
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.074 4 gallons
8 lb. 0 oz. Amber malt extract
Hops: 3 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: 22 Grams Nottingham Yeast
Log: Primary 65F for 1 week
Secondary 65F for 2 weeks
"Clear" sit outside on porch COVERED!!! (~30F for 1-2 weeks)
Bring inside, allow to temp to rise to ~60F and bottle or keg
Carbonation: 2.2 volumes Corn Sugar: 3.25 oz. for 5 gallons @ 60°F
3.25 oz sugar to 1/2 cup 100F water. add to wort before bottling with 1/2 a yeast packet.
