Campfire Cream Ale
A great, light, crisp cream ale... my best attempt at a New Glarus spotted cow clone. Cascade hops bring out great citrus notes that go well with this beer.

Yeast: | Used Wyeast 1056, chico ale yeast. I used saved yeast in a mason jar from my first version of this recipe (changed hops from saaz to cascade) and had to make a starter, but have had success with just a simple smack pack for this recipe in the past. | |||||||

Tasting: | first version was very good and had used saaz hops... changed it out this time for cascade and was extremely happy with the less pungent and more citrusy flavor... similar to new glarus' spotted cow cream ale. |
