Celebrate the summer and July 4th with this very light cream ale -- a few steps above mega-swill and an American tradition.

4 oz. American crystal 10L
4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. Flaked corn
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single infusion mash for 60 minutes at 154°F
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.033 6.5 gallons
1tsp Irish Moss (15 min)
Hops: 1 oz. Liberty (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Liberty (4.5% AA, 1 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast American Ale #1056
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar
