You could call it a Pale Ale X IPA hybrid, but those two styles are so close anyway, what would be the point? Lets just call it an American Pale IPA.

The 1/2 oz. of Amarillo and 1/2 oz. of Simcoe that appear to be 20 minute hops in the recipator are actually first wort hops that I put into the 20 minute slot on the spreadsheet to approximate their bittering effect. The Citra hops are actually dry hops to be added during secondary for 7 days. 1 tsp. Irish moss @ 15 min. |
