Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Grain: 10 lb. American pale 2-row
1 lb. crystal
1 lb. American victory
Mash: 75% efficiency
I infusion mashed the 11lbs. total grain with 3 gallons of
treated water at 155°F for 90 minutes. Checked for conversion at
60 minutes, it wasn't complete waited 15 minutes more for full conversion.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.056 6.0 gallons
Added 1 tsp isinglass finings disolved in 1 cup of cool filtered (Brita)
water at bottling
Hops: 2. oz. kent goldings (5.6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 45 min.)
1. oz. kent goldings (5.6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. kent goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 without a starter
Log: fermentation temp 70°F.
Carbonation: Primed with 1 cup corn sugar disolved in 1 cup filtered water
