Larry's IPA
This recipe is a modified version of a Bell's Two-Hearted Ale clone recipe printed in the March 2001 issue of BYO Magazine. This beer took third place in the IPA category of the 2001 Pacific Brewer's Cup (http://www.pacificbrewerscup.org/). I'm still waiting on the scoresheets for numeric score and feedback.

Tasting: | Clean IPA with great hop flavor and aroma. Since I did a 3 gallon boil, the beer was not as bitter as it would have been had I done a full wort boil. Next time I'll up the bittering hops to compensate, if I haven't bought a bigger kettle by then. :-) |
