6 lb. Light dry malt extract | ||||||||
Irish Moss @ 15 min till end of boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Chinook (11.3% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Chinook (11.3% AA, 40 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6.2% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6.2% AA, 5 min.) |

Yeast: | White Labs WLP001-California Ale | |||||||
Log: | Primary ferment for 4 days to a week. Rack to secondary for another week. Bottle with 3/4 cup corn sugar boiled in 16oz water. Bottle condition for at least a week. Better after a month of smoothing and blending. | |||||||
Tasting: | An IPA so simple a trained monkey could make it. A touch of sweetness. A touch more bitterness. Taste just right. Some folks do not care for Chinook, but this is OK with one ounce doses. |
