Smell-a-Brayshun

Aaahhh, the sweet smell of hops in the field. Combined with the wonderful
sinus-kick of the estery, alcoholic aromas given off by this brew... it's a wonder
I ever even make it to work (sober.)

Bitterness: 99 IBU
OG: 1.067 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 6.9% v/v (5.4% w/w)
Water: Water used was 1/2 Spring Water, 1/2 Long Beach Municipal.
Grain: 11 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. American crystal 90L
4 oz. Belgian CaraVienne
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single-infusion mash @ 155°F for 90 min.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.048 7 gallons
Hops: 1.25 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 90 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
1 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: Pitch 1 L 1056 starter.
Log: Primary fermentation= 7 days @ 67°F. Racked to secondary with 1oz each Cascade & Centennial plugs, allowed to ferment/condition for an addtional 10 days. Kegged and conditioned another 4 weeks before cracking.
Tasting: Mmmmmmmmmmm (hic).
