IPA
Updated a bit from a BYO recipe fro "American IPA." Used the last of the bulk extract, so I think I was a bit low on that, won't be as alcoholic. Played around with the hops too, using up old Cascade.

Tasting: | At bottling, tasted quite bitter, more than 55 IBUs. Had nice soft hop profile with great nose. Slight hint of an infection in the odor. As it turned out, wasn't very bitter, or very hoppy. Next time will dryhop. Increased in carbonation over its life indicating some slight infection that didn't affect flavor. A good beer, but more of an APA. |
