Steep: | 45 minutes steeped at 151° in 1 gallon of water. Ran 2 qts of 170° water to rinse. | |||||||

Hops: | .8 oz. Nugget (13.2% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (5.3% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (aroma) |

Yeast: | Nottingham Dry. Wyeast 1056 or WLP California would work well too. | |||||||
Log: | Primary 8 days, secondary 8 days. Aroma hops were added at flame out but could be dry-hopped. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 7/8 cup of priming sugar. | |||||||
Tasting: | It was ready to drink in 5 days. Nice rye flavor. More bitter than Terrapin, but pretty darn good - could cut Nugget (actually used 1 oz.) to half at 60 and rest at 30 minutes to really clone. Has a real grapefruit tang from Cascades. |
