"Give Me Liberty or Give Me Macrobeer!"
This is to be an Anchor Liberty Ale Clone... or something close anyways.

Did a partial mash by heating 2 quarts of water to 175 degrees. Moved water to a cold pot and mashed in grains (at 164 degrees. Mashed for 45 mins at temps of 150-156 degrees. Drained off initial runnings and grain through a grain bag into the boil kettle and then sparged with two quarts of 170 degree water through the grain bag.. Drained second runnings into boil kettle. This is not a perfect way to do a mash, but it worked. | ||||||||
