1st IPA

1lb Carapils and 1lb crushed crystal 20 minute boil.
added malt extract and brought to boil, added 1oz Fuggles and
1oz KentGoldings hops at this time and boiled for 60 minutes.
starting Gravity was 1.050 , Finishing Gravity was 1.010.
I dry hopped using the Saaz hops.

I would love some input on this one, Upon 1st drink (2 weeks in the bottle)
(I used amber DME to prime) This tastes very sweet not very IPA-like. I'm looking
for Suggesstions on how to make this more IPA-LIke. I know I should probably double
the Hops, and do away with the Saaz...Not sure how to get it lighter colored with the
same head retention and mouthfeel. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated...This is my 1st attempt at an IPA.

Thanks
