Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: Attempting to make local water into Burton-on-Trent profile
3.6 tsp CaCO3
3.6 tsp CaSO4
3.6 tsp MgSO4
Grain: 500g American crystal 40L
Steep: typical tea bag steep up to 165F in brew water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.045 7 gallons
3kg Light dry malt extract
hop addn after protein break then 60 min from there
Irish Moss at 15 min remaining
Hops: 1.5 oz. Cluster (6.1% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cluster (6.1% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Cluster (6.1% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (2.9% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast London ESB yeast
Log: Aroma Hops to be used for dry hopping in secondary about 5 days before bottling
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Corn Sugar: 3.67 oz. for 6 gallons @ 20°C
