Grain: | 1 lb. 4 oz. American victory | |||||||
Steep: | Steep specialty malts for 30 minutes at 150° | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.166 | 3 gallons | |||||
13 lb. Light malt extract | ||||||||
Boil the LME for 60 minutes. Add enough cold water to bring to 5 gallons. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1.75 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 60 min.) 0.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 45 min.) 0.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) 0.5 oz. Centennial (aroma) |

Yeast: | Cool to 70° areate and add American Ale yeast. | |||||||
Log: | You will need to dry hop 2 oz of Cascade. Ferment at 65°-70° until finished. Transfer to a secondary and condition at 55°- 60° for an additional 2-3 weeks | |||||||
Carbonation: | 2.0 volumes | Dried Malt Extract: 4.68 oz. for 5 gallons @ 60°F | ||||||
4.68 malt extract boiled in 2 cups of water. Bottle and store at room temperature for an additional 2-3 weeks. |
