Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.0% w/w)
Water: use soft water
Grain: 4 oz. British brown
8 oz. British crystal 70-80L
Steep: place steeping grains in 2.5-3 gallons of cold water and bring to 155* F and hold for 20 min. Rinse with one quart of 168*F water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.121 3 gallons
7 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Corn sugar
Hops: .6 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1.75 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
.3 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: I used WLP500 with a 1 quart starter
