Alcohol: 9.0% v/v (7.1% w/w)
Water: Christchurch NZ - Tap Water
Grain: 300g German Vienna
60g British crystal 70-80L
180g Raw wheat
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.108 11 liters
3kg Light malt extract
500g Belgian candi sugar
Hops: 20g Nelson Sauvin (12% AA, 60 min.)
20g Styrian Goldings (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Y-yeast liquid wine yeast
Carbonation: Bottles primed with white cane sugar
Tasting: 15/11/04 - This beer is tasting fantastic! A true success!
I believe the liquid yeast which I don't normally use had
an impact on the smoothness of this brew. I also used some
of my favourite hop and malt varieties.
