Barrel aged Flanders red ale

Intended to be a flanders red ale for a club barrel project. 10 brewers are making 5 gallon batches, doing the primary fermentation and then adding to a 55 gallon oak barrel and adding wild ale cultures and aging for several months. Should be interesting

Alcohol: 8.3% v/v (6.5% w/w)
Water: well water with gypsum
Grain: 9 lb. German Pilsner
.5 lb. Wheat malt
2 lb. German Munich
.5 lb. British crystal 50-60L
.5 lb. British crystal 70-80L
Mash: 80% efficiency
Infusion mash with thin decoction to get to mashout
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.053 8 gallons
1 lb. Belgian candi sugar
whirlfloc tab at 15 min
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Fermentis T-58, overnight starter.
