Just a light ale for summer time thirst quenching.Ran into slight delimma with wife wanting to do some unexpected running and ended up with a single infusion mash that lasted 5 hrs 10 mins.Worked out great for me and thats the way I will do it from now on.....

Strike water was 170 deg. Rest temp was 160 deg for 5 hrs 10 mins. Just wrapped up mash tun in several blankets - only 2 degree drop in temp! | ||||||||

Log: | Take 2 qts gyle from pre-pitched wort (save in fridge for priming - strain before use)Primary for 8 days. Rack with 1/2 tsp gelatin. rack again after week. Cold crash on basement floor(50 degrees)for 2-3 more weeks.Added 1/2 gallon water to fermenter - OG actually came in at 1.062 and I didn't want it that high. | |||||||
