1 lb. American victory
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. 8 oz. Flaked rye
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash @ 152* for 60 minutes. Single infusion mash, batch sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.042 6.5 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Fermentis US-05
Log: Ferment 60-65 degrees for 3 weeks in the primary, bottle or keg.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.28 oz. for 5 gallons @ 65°F
Tasting: Light hop character, crisp Rye flavor. Very light and easy drinking Ale.
