Steep: | Steeped grains for 20 minutes at 160 degrees and sparged with 1 gallon of water heated to 200 degrees. | |||||||
Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.129 | 2 gallons | |||||

Added liquid malt and 1 oz of cascade hops to 3 gallons of water and started the heat. After 50 minutes of a rolling boil, added 1 oz of Cascade hops. After 58 minutes added another oz of Cascade hopes. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) 2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | Whitbread ale yeast and used a starter. | |||||||
Tasting: | Nice malt flavor, but not as much hop flavor as I usually like. |
