Steep: | Grains were steeped for 60 min @ 155*F in 1 gal of water. This and the 2 additional gal(pre-heated to 155*F) were used to rinse grains by recirculateing through the grains. DME was added as the heat was turned up. All DME dissoled by 180*F. No "Hot Break" boil over problems this way. | |||||||

Yeast: | 1 batch used Danstar Windsor, the other Safeale 56 | |||||||
Carbonation: | I will use 1 cup corn sugar to carbonate in the bottle. Per past problems with last two batches using Safeale, I will ttir the bottom of the secondary to ensue yeast is transfered to the bottleing bucket. |
