Ginger Beer
This was inspired by the ginger beer at PF Changs (found out they use a pale ale and mix with ginger extract when poured) and adapted fro Morgan Pierceheart's Ginger beer recipe.

Log: | Added 2 oz of fresh grated ginger at 60 minutes and at 5 minutes. | |||||||
Carbonation: | Kegged. | |||||||
Tasting: | First impressions - yuck! Turned out I haven't learned to carbonate well yet, and once I got the carbination level up to where it should be this turned out to be a clean, smooth, gingery ale. A good balance of light hops and ginger flavor. |
