Another in my series of single-hop Blonde Ales.
Note the recipe is for 5.5 gallons.

Mash relatively low in the saccharification range, around 150°F. Minimal sparge and collection in order to shorten the boil time (hence the low overall efficiency). |

Boil: | 75 minutes | SG 1.042 | 6.5 gallons | |||||
Keep the boil time short to avoid extra darkening of the wort. | ||||||||
Hops: | 1.5 oz. Hallertauer (4% AA, 60 min.) 0.75 oz. Hallertauer (4% AA, 20 min.) 0.75 oz. Hallertauer (4% AA, 10 min.) 0.5 oz. Hallertauer (4% AA, 0 min.) |

Yeast: | Safale US-56 (or anything suitably low-impact). | |||||||
Log: | Ferment at the low end of the range for the yeast you use. | |||||||
Carbonation: | Carbonate at normal or slightly higher level. | |||||||
Tasting: | This should come out as a pale, crisp, clean, easy-drinking brew. |
