Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. American Vienna
.5 lb. American crystal 10L
Mash: 60% efficiency
- Single Infusion mash for 60 minutes at 152 degrees.
- Dough-in with 3.5 gallons of water.
- After 60 minutes, add 5 quarts of 175 degree water and begin vorlauf.
- Another 3.25 gallons of 175 degree water ready for the next batch sparge. You should then get 6.5 gallons to your kettle for the boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.038 6 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Nottingham dry ale yeast, started.
