Tinman's Summer Ale
Brewed a kit last year of this, by Brewers Best. It was an awesome summer ale - didn't last too long.This is my attempt to replicate with a little tweaking.

Added 1 oz. sweet orange peel, 1 oz. cinnamon stick, .5 oz. cardamom crushed, .5 oz. coriander seed crushed, lemon zest from 1 whole lemon,1 oz. ginger crystals, .5 oz. vanilla bean (crushed) to boil at 15 minutes.Irish moss added at 10 mins.Took 2 qts. gyle pre-pitch for priming. | ||||||||

Log: | brewed 3-6-2010.pitch at 70 deg. Ferm at 68 deg. for 7 days. Rack for 7 days. | |||||||
Carbonation: | 1.5 qts of gyle to prime. |
