15 Min Chinook Cube Ale

A very simple APA, using the cube-hopping method to create a flavourful
and aromatic ale using no-chill.

4 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Grain: 2kg 975g British pale
350g Wheat malt
175g Flaked wheat
Mash: 77% efficiency
90min 66° BIAB. Dunk Sparge/Mashout for 18L
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.050 18 liters
140g Cane sugar
Irish Moss + DAP at 20min, sugar at 5min
Hops: 8.7g Chinook (10% AA, 60 min.)
26.3g Chinook (10% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: US05/1056
Log: Bittering at 40min (no-chill compensation,) wait for wort to cool to 80°
then pour onto cube hops.
