Water: | My local water is very poor. I use bottled and treat with 1-4 tsp. gypsum and/or Calcium Carbonate (depending on the recipe), as well as 2 grams of regular salt and/or a few grams of epsom salts. | |||||||
Grain: | 2 lb. 12 oz. British pale 8 oz. British Peated Malt 1 lb. 2 oz. Belgian biscuit 1 lb. 2 oz. American crystal 80L 14 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils) 14 oz. Belgian CaraMunich |

Mash: | 80% efficiency | |||||||
Use 1qt/lb of water to mash at 155° F for 75 minutes. Add heat to knockout @ 175° F for 10 min. Sparge with 1/2 G per 1 lb of grain. | ||||||||
