Skip's Strong Scotch Ale

This is a Scotch Ale kit I bumped up to a strong Scotch Ale.

Color:	57 HCU (~24 SRM)		Bitterness:	11 IBU
OG:	1.075		FG:	1.022
Alcohol:	6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Grain:	8 oz. American crystal 60L 4 oz. American chocolate 2 oz. Roasted barley 8 oz. Belgian biscuit
Steep:	Steep grains for an hour at 160° in 1 gal water
Boil:	60 minutes	SG 1.137	3 gallons
	3.3 lb. Amber malt extract 4 lb. Light dry malt extract 2 lb. Amber dry malt extract
Hops:	1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast:	White Labs Edinburgh Scottish Ale WLP028
Carbonation:	5 oz. corn sugar
Tasting:	It took about 2 months to smooth out. Then it was good stuff. I actually entered this in a competition as an export 80 and won a ribbon, so someone must like it. :-)
