Bitterness: 32 IBU
OG: 1.070 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 7.0% v/v (5.5% w/w)
Water: 1/2 teaspoon gypsum pre-boil
Grain: 4 lb. Belgian Pilsner
2 lb. Belgian Munich
2 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steep in grain socks at 156 for 45 minutes remove grain
and bring to boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.129 3 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
Remove from heat and add extract.
Bring to boil and add hops.
Add 1 tsp Irish Moss - 15 minutes
from end of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: wyyeast 1338 euro ale yeast
Carbonation: 4.5 ounces of priming sugar
