Special California Common
This is my second Steam Style Beer, the first was from a kit and was very nice. This one should have a bit more character.

Used grain bag for 45 minutes at 155 F. Sparged using colander. | ||||||||

1 tspn. Irish Moss added at 30 minutes. |

Hops: | 1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Liberty (aroma) |

Yeast: | White Labs SanFrancisco Lager Yeast: 1 pint starter pitched at 78 F. Activity in airlock in 4-6 hours. Heavy activity at 12 hours. Temp. stayed near 70 for 2 days, cooled it to 64 on 3rd Day. |

Log: | At 6 days racked to secondary in glass. Dry hopped with 1 oz. Amarillo hops. (these hops were not listed so I put in Liberty instead) Amarillo are said to give a floral aroma almost rose-like. Secondary 14 days. |
