Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Water: Adjust pH with gypsum or lactic acid.
Grain: 24 lb. American 2-row
4 lb. German Munich
1 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
Mash: 70% efficiency
Do a simple infusion. There's no need to do a complicated mash with American 2-row. Try 60-80 minutes at 154°.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.036 21 gallons
Hops: 3 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast Bavarian works best.
